SENSELASHES Speedy Promade Fans

SENSELASHES Speedy Promade Fans are designed for lash artists who want to reduce the number of handling steps involved in applying ready-made volume fans. Speedy Fans follow a direct workflow: Pick up, dip, and place.

The collection includes 5D, 6D, 8D, and 10D Speedy Pro Made Fans, progressing from lighter volume to denser definition. Each box contains 960 ultra-matte black fans arranged in mixed-length trays. Artists can choose between C and D curls and four length groups spanning 8 to 15 mm, making it easier to select a tray that matches the working range of a planned lash map.

Selection 01

Choosing the Right Fan Dimension

Fan Dimension Best For Style Result
5D Light volume, hybrid sets, and subtle everyday enhancement Soft fullness with visible separation
6D Natural-to-medium volume and balanced salon sets Fuller than 5D while maintaining a controlled finish
8D Full volume styling and clients seeking stronger density Darker, fluffier volume with more lash-line definition
10D High-density volume sets using finer individual fibers The fullest and darkest result within the collection
  • 5D Speedy Fans use 0.07 mm fibers and contain five fibers in each fan. As the lowest fan dimension in the collection, they are suited to lighter volume and hybrid work where the artist wants added fullness without creating the darkest possible lash line.
  • 6D Speedy Fans also use 0.07 mm fibers but add one more fiber to each fan. They provide a gradual step up from 5D and work well for balanced volume sets that need more presence while retaining a defined, wearable appearance.
  • 8D Speedy Fans combine eight 0.07 mm fibers in each fan. Their higher dimension creates a fuller and more noticeable volume result, making them more appropriate when the planned set requires stronger density than 5D or 6D.
  • 10D Speedy Fans use finer 0.05 mm fibers to build the highest fan dimension in this collection. They are suited to denser volume styling where the goal is a darker lash line and greater overall fullness.

The D number describes how many individual fibers are included in each fan. Artists should assess the natural lash, extension length, fiber diameter, adhesive amount, and the overall design of the set.

How to Choose Curl and Mixed-Length Trays

Curl

  • C curl creates a softer and more moderate lift. It is suitable for sets that need visible curl without an especially dramatic upward direction.
  • D curl produces a stronger lift and a more open, pronounced eye effect. It is more appropriate for clients requesting a clearly curled or glamorous result.

Curl selection should account for the direction of the natural lashes, the client’s eye shape, and the effect required by the lash map. A stronger curl is not automatically the better choice if it creates an unsuitable attachment angle against the natural lash.

Mixed-Length Trays

Each Speedy Fan product is available in four mixed-length ranges:

Mixed-Length Tray Useful For
8/9/10 mm Short lash maps, inner sections, and restrained styling
10/11/12 mm Short-to-medium everyday volume sets
11/12/13 mm Medium-length maps with more visible extension
13/14/15 mm Longer lash maps and more pronounced styling

The shorter trays can support compact and controlled designs, while the longer ranges provide more visible length. The appropriate tray should still be selected according to the client’s natural lashes rather than the desired extension length alone.

Selection 03

Understanding the Diameter Options

The collection connects fan dimension and fiber diameter in two distinct groups:

  • 5D, 6D, and 8D fans use 0.07 mm fibers.
  • 10D fans use 0.05 mm fibers.

A 0.07 mm fiber has more body than a 0.05 mm fiber, which helps the lower-D fans create clear strand definition. The finer 0.05 mm fibers allow the 10D option to add more fibers without using the same individual strand thickness as the 5D, 6D, and 8D options.

This does not mean that every natural lash can support every available fan. A longer 10D fan may create a different load from a shorter 10D fan, and natural lashes across the same eye can vary in strength. Artists should adjust the fan choice when working with shorter, finer, younger, or weaker natural lashes.

FAQs About SENSELASHES Speedy Promade Fans

Q1: Do pro made fans retain as well as handmade fans?

A freshly handmade fan can spread or wrap around the natural lash while its base is still flexible, whereas a promade fan already has a formed base. For promade fans, retention depends heavily on clean preparation, full contact between the base and natural lash, suitable adhesive speed, controlled glue quantity, correct placement, and an appropriate fan weight.

Q2: Are pro made fans only suitable for beginners?

No. Pro made fans can be used by both developing and experienced lash artists. Beginners may use them to focus on isolation, placement, direction, and adhesive control without having to create every fan during the appointment. Experienced artists may use them to maintain consistency or manage appointment time during busy salon schedules.

Q3: Can Speedy Fans and handmade fans be used in the same set?

They can be combined when the artist needs both consistency and customization. Speedy Fans may be used through sections that require repeatable density, while handmade fans can be created for smaller natural lashes, gaps, texture, or areas that require a different width.

When combining the two, the artist should keep the curl, length progression, direction, and overall density visually coherent. Each fan must still be selected for the individual natural lash supporting it rather than chosen only to make the set appear uniform.

Q4: Why do some promade fans close or collect a bulky adhesive bead during dipping?

A promade fan may close when adhesive travels too far up the base and begins to pull the fibers together. This can happen when the fan is dipped too deeply, held in the adhesive for too long, or paired with an adhesive whose viscosity and curing speed do not suit the artist’s technique and room conditions.

Use a shallow, controlled dip that coats the attachment area without submerging the fan. Work from a fresh adhesive droplet, avoid dragging the fan through the glue, and inspect the base before placement. A visible bulb of adhesive can add unnecessary weight and make clean attachment more difficult.
